What makes Right-Size Now different from the rest?
We understand that you have options when it comes to downsizing, or as we like to call it, “right-sizing” – be it family, friends, neighbors, or traditional methods such as a good old-fashioned moving company.
We believe, from first-hand experience, a right-sized move needs the help of professionals. When you are right-sizing your home, you are faced with a lot of difficult decisions on what to do with your possessions. It is important to understand the process is delicate, emotional, and time-consuming with many moving parts.
Below, we have outlined what sets Right-Size Now apart from other move managers and traditional movers. We understand we may not be for everyone; to see if our services are the right fit for you, we invite you to contact us for a free consultation.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Right-Size Now is a trained and certified member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM). This means we have gone through a comprehensive training program, a thorough code of ethics, verification of insurance, and ongoing continuing education requirements in order to maintain the accreditation.
LICENSED REALTOR®
Lisa Hasson, owner of Right-Size Now, is a seasoned realtor with an abundance of experience working with people of all ages who are buying and selling homes, as well as moving into different types of communities.
Whether or not you need her assistance as a realtor, she brings a wealth of knowledge in her ability to call on a vast network of resources needed in the moving process and assists her clients in readying their homes for the market.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Lisa has assisted two sets of parents in their right-sizing journeys and has seen how vastly different they can be. Her parents moved into a smaller condominium, thinking that that would be their final home – it was not. After her mom unexpectedly passed away, her stepfather would transition two more times during his lifetime.
In contrast, her husband’s parents have chosen to remain in their home. They have adapted their main floor to accommodate their current physical challenges. Through these experiences, she has gained a great deal of insight into the pros and cons of both living options (modifying a current home and right-sizing to a new home) and how to best support her clients in their life choice.
ATTENTION TO DETAILS
The success of a move is seen in the details. When working with our clients, we pay attention to the current setup of their homes to ensure placement of items remains familiar. After all, when you spend decades in a kitchen and it’s second nature to reach to the right for a glass, we make sure they are where you would want them to be.
To ensure familiarity with your new space, we will take photos of your current space for packing and unpacking on move-in day.
