Lisa was a Godsend; my wife was in the hospital for several months and we had already started to build a home in a retirement community in Florida. Our home of thirty-five years was cluttered with stuff, and I didn’t know how I was going to get it ready to sell on my own. Lisa organized everything into a spare room and the garage, so that we could go through it when my wife got home. She hired cleaners to clean the house and she staged the rooms to make everything look great! She sold the house, and we moved right on schedule!
My brother, who was widowed, went into a nursing home. I was his Power of Attorney and lived an hour away. Their home of forty years was left with unwanted furniture, clothes, and items. I had it listed to sell for several months, but only received very low offers. I was contacted by Lisa, who said that she could help. Did she ever! Lisa filled two dumpsters with trash and brush from the yard. She had all the furniture donated to a local charity. The old carpets were all taken out, exposing the hardwood floors, the house was cleaned from top to bottom, and she even planted new shrubs out front. Two weeks later, the house went on the market. It sold in one weekend, for more than we had listed it for the previous time!
After losing my wife, Lisa offered to help me find a new residence in an assisted living community. Lisa and I toured several local communities before I chose the one I liked best. When it came time to move, Lisa set up my entire room to feel comfortable and familiar. She brought curtains from my home, she hung pictures on the wall, she set up my desk, and even brought my favorite chair for watching television. Lisa is a very caring person and made me feel much better about being in my new home.
